Fall

 Happy Foggy First Fall Morning!

(This was from a couple days ago, so it really was the first day of Fall...)

 The changing of the seasons makes me both happy and sad this time around. 

Happy because I like Fall. 

I like football, and chili, and cool mornings and pumpkins.

I like the way the chill in the air smells, the warm colors of the changing leaves,

and spending time with family.  

 But it also makes me sad...

because there will be at least two more season changes before I will see Jar.

And it will be Fall AGAIN by the time he is home for good.

At least he can send me pictures while he is away.

Jar, I miss your face!

(and thank you for the pictures, they make me happy!)

In a few weeks he will be leaving for Iraq, and things will be changing again.

And life will go on just like it did before...
