Avajar's First Trip

This weekend we are staying at my sister's house.  After I got off work, I stopped by the house and picked up our clothes and Avajar.  Yes, Avajar is making the trip with us, mainly because I am afraid he will dry out while we are gone.  Oh, and I really need to take some pictures of him since that is what this blog is supposed to be about!

Since I have never traveled with a tree before, I wasn't exactly sure how this would work.  I knew he would need something to keep him stable.  I could just picture me slamming on the brakes, his bowl going flying, the rocks catapulting through the air, and Avajar ending up in splinters on my dash board.  I chose a stylish yet practical means to anchor him to the seat.

Other than a few rocks getting jostled out of his pot, he made it safe and sound.  So now I get to spend the weekend with this beautiful face...
